Mayor Stan Henrycalled the January 27, 2018 Special Meeting of the CityCouncil to order at 8:00 a.m.

There were no public comments.
2. UPDATE ON GOALS FOR 2017
2.A. 2018-15 Update on Achievement of City Council Goals for 2017
Recommendation: This item is presented for information, discussion and direction only.
City Manager Charles McClendon gave an overview on the achievements of the City Council Goals for 2017.
3. FY 2017/2018 GENERAL FUND MID-YEAR REVIEW AND BUDGET UPDATE
3.A. 2018-23 FY 2017/2018 General Fund Mid-Year Review and Budget Update
Recommendation: Receive and File
Administrative Services Director., Tami Scott,presented a FY 2017/2018 General Fund Mid-Year Review and
Budget.
4. UPDATE ON SPECIAL EVENTS
4.A. 2018-22 Special Events Update
Recommendation: Chris Parman will provide an update on Special Events.
Communications and Events Manager, Chris Parman,provided a recap of the events that the City produces and
gave an update on the remaining Winter and Spring 2018 events. He also proposed a budget expenditure for the

2018-2019 Special Events Budget.
5. UPDATE ON CITY'S PAVEMENT PROGRAM
5.A. 2018-25 Status of the City's Pavement Management Program,future City
street reconstruction requirements and potential funding options.
Recommendation: Staff will make a presentation to the City Council on the current status of the
Pavement Management Program (PMP), future City street reconstruction
requirements and potential funding options for discussion and direction.
City Engineer,John Corella,presented the status of the City's Pavement Management Program, future City street
reconstruction and requirements and discussed potential funding options.
6. COUNCIL GOALS FOR 2018
6.A. 2018-26 Discussion on Council Goals for 2018
Recommendation: Provide Direction to Staff on the Goals of the City Council for 2018.
City Manager, Charles McClendon,indicated that staff is once again looking for direction on their goals to be
implemented by staff for 2018. The City Council provided a list of goals for staff to bring back in a Resolution for
approval establishing the formal list of Goals for 2018.
