QUITCLAIM DEED
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the
THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, a public body,
corporate and politic, of the State of California (the "Grantor"), which took title as the
Cathedral City Redevelopment Agency and Redevelopment Agency of Cathedral City, and
City of Cathedral City RDA, pursuant to and in accordance with the Community
Redevelopment Law of the State of California, does hereby remise, release,and forever
quitclaim to the
CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY AS HOUSING SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, a Municipal Corporation, all those
real properties in the City of Cathedral City, County of Riverside, State of California, as
described in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof;
SUBJECT TO all easements, rights of way, covenants, conditions, restrictions,
reservations, and other matters of record, and the following:
1. The Grantee covenants by and for itself, its heirs, executors, administrators
and assigns, and all persons claiming under or through them, that there shall be no
discrimination against or segregation of any person or group of persons on account of race,
color, creed, religion, sex, age, marital status, physical disability, national origin, ancestry,
sexual orientation or domestic partnership arrangement in the sale, lease, sublease, rental,
transfer, use,occupancy,tenure or enjoyment of the real property described herein,or any
interest to be conveyed therein, nor shall the Grantee or any other party or persons
claiming under or through the Grantee establish or permit any such practice or practices of
discrimination or segregation with reference to the selection, location, number, use or
occupancy of tenants, lessees, subtenants, sub-lessees or vendees in the real property
described herein or any development or improvements constructed thereupon. These
covenants shall remain in effect for perpetuity.
2. The foregoing covenants shall run with the land, and shall inure to the benefit
of and be enforceable by the Grantor, the City of Cathedral City, and their respective
successors and assigns.
3. The covenants contained in this Quitclaim Deed shall be binding for the
benefit of the Grantor and its successors and assigns, and such covenants shall run in
favor of the Grantor and the City of Cathedral City for the entire period during which such
covenants are to remain in full force and effect, without regard to whether the Grantor or
the City of Cathedral City has at any time been, remains, or is an owner or lessee of any
land or interest therein to which these covenants relate. In the event of any breach of any
of these covenants, the Grantor and the City of Cathedral City shall have the right to
exercise all of the rights and remedies available at law or in equity to enforce the curing of
such breach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor and Grantee have caused this instrument to
be executed on their behalf by their respective officers thereunto duly authorized this 14th _
