Pursuant to Executive Order N-29-20, this meeting was conducted by videoconference.

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM by Mayor Raymond Gregory.

Commission and Committee Interviews/Appointments
Recommendation: To Interview applicants and consider making appointments
to the vacant seats on the Finance Advisory Committee,
Public Arts Commission, Parks and Community Events
Commission, Planning Commission, Historical Preservation
Committee and the Palm Springs International Airport
Commission.
The City Council conducted interviews for upcoming and existing vacancies on
Council appointed Commissions and Committees. The following is a list of
individuals that were interviewed and/or submitted a letter of interest to be
reappointed:

After conducting interviews, the City Council made the following appointments by
motion:
Motion to appoint Charlotte Hunter-Copper to the Historic Preservation
Committee
M.O. 2021-82
A motion was made by Councilmember Carnevale and seconded by Councilmember
Lamb to appoint Charlotte Hunter-Copper to the Historic Preservation Committee for
a 3-year term expiring on June 30, 2024.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

Motion to appoint Piper Scott to the Public Arts Commission

A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tern Gutierrez and seconded by Councilmember
Carnevale to appoint Piper Scott to the Public Arts Commission for a 3-year term
expiring on June 30, 2024.

Carnevale to re-appoint Ralph C. Thompson-Cantua and Craig Loe to the Planning
Commission each for a three-year term expiring on June 30, 2024.

Motion to appoint Erin Hyland and Robert Puentes to the Parks and
Community Events Commission for a three-year term and reappoint Chip
Yarborough to the Parks and Community Events Commissin to fill an un-
expired term of two-years

A motion was made by Councilmember Carnevale and seconded by Councilmember
Lamb to appoint Erin Hyland and Robert Puentes to the Parks and Community
Events Commission each for a three-year term expiring June 30, 2024, and re-
appointed Chip Yarborough to the Parks and Community Events Commission to fill
an un-expired term expiring June 30, 2023.

year term.
