RE: Letter of Conditions for Use of Cathedral City Parking Structure
Dear Mr. Bretz,
The use of City/Agency property, specifically 50 parking spaces on the second level of the
Public Parking Structure for the temporary storage of new cars is approved subject to the
following conditions:
(1) Only the area outlined in the referenced parking facility may be used (attached diagram).
(2) All vehicles must be parked in the designated stalls. Drive isles, as clearly indicated in the
structure, must remain clear for use by emergency vehicles.
(3) Repairs for any damage to the structure within the space designated by this authorization
will be paid by Palm Springs Nissan upon notice of such damage by the City/Agency.
(4) Use of the space shall commence on or after April 1, 2004 and terminate on or before July
1, 2004 (91 days).
(5) The space must be completely cleared of all stored vehicles, as well as any trash or debris
that may have accumulated, no later than July 1, 2004.
(6) O'Brien Hyundai will pay the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) as rent for the space
for the term.
(7) The City/Agency will not be responsible for vehicle security or protection, and will not be
held liable for damage, theft, or vandalism to the stored vehicles.
(8) The City of Cathedral City/Redevelopment Agency shall be named as additional insured
on O'Brien Hyundai's insurance policy.
(9) The space is to be used only for storage. Showing of cars to customers, repair/
maintenance, or any similar activities are prohibited. Weekly spray wash of vehicles will
be allowed.
(10) There is a seven foot height limit in the structure; therefore no high profile vehicles can be
stored.
(11) The City/Agency may revoke this Permit for violation of the conditions of the permit and,
with 48 hours notice, require the removal of the stored vehicles.
