HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Reso 1995-6 RESOLUTION NO. 95-6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE STANDARD EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the Standardization of Emergency Incident Management is a prime concern of all emergency management organizations; and WHEREAS, we recognize that such a system can provide the citizens, through a cooperative effort of all emergency management organizations, a cost effective emergency incident management system; and WHEREAS, we further recognize that the adoption and use of the Standardized Emergency Management System will result in increased cooperation and efficiency among the emergency management organizations in Riverside County; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cathedral City agrees to adopt and use the approved Standardized Emergency Management System as defined in Government Code §8607.
