Side Letter of Agreement
between the City of Cathedral City and
the Cathedral City Professional Firefighters Association(CCPFA)
December 6, 2016
SUBJECT: Elimination of Article 17.9 Wellness Benefit—4%
The parties agree that, effective with the close of the pay period ending January 14, 2017, the subject
Wellness Benefit Article shall be eliminated. As such, the 4% salary differential above base pay shall
be discontinued effective with the pay period beginning January 15, 2017.
In lieu of the 4% differential, the salary schedule covering members of the CCPFA shall be modified
and each salary range included therein shall be adjusted upward by 4% effective January 15, 2017.
Employees/members shall retain their existing step in the salary range.
