FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
DOUGLAS C. JONES and TERRENCE B. JONES, Husband and wife as joint tenants,
hereby GRANT to the CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, a Municipal Corporation, an
easement and right of way for public highway and public utility purposes, over, under,
across and through those portions of Lot 280 of Rich Sands Estates No. 3, as shown by
map on file in Book 33, at Page 32 of Maps, Records of Riverside County, California,
described in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and ade a part hereof.

This form complies with current California statutes regarding notary wording and,
if needed, should be completed and attached to the document. Acknowledgments
from other states may be completed for documents being sent to that state so long
as the wording does not require the California notary to violate California notary

The following described portion of Lot 280 of Rich Sands Estates No. 3, as shown by
map on file in Book 33, Page 32 of Maps, Records of Riverside County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 280;
Thence, North 00° 05' 55" West, along the West line of said Lot 280, a distance of 13.00
feet;
Thence, North 89° 54' 00" East, parallel with the South line of said Lot 280, a distance of
82.00 feet;
Thence, North 52° 39' 57" East, 31.40 feet;
Thence, North 00° 05' 55" West, parallel with the East line of said Lot 280, a distance of
35.50 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 280;
Thence, North 89° 54' 00" East, along the said North line, a distance of 5.00 feet to the
Northeast corner of said Lot 280;
Thence, South 00° 05' 55" East, along the East line of said Lot 280, a distance of 47.50
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Northwesterly and having a radius of
20.00 feet;
Thence, Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 89° 59' 55", an arc
length of 31.42 feet to a point on the South line of said Lot 280;
Thence, South 89° 54' 00" West, along said South line, a distance of 92.00 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that portion of said Lot 280 described in the Quitclaim
Deed to the City of Cathedral City recorded on June 21, 2018, as Instrument No. 2018-
0251070 in Official Records of Riverside County, California.
The above described easement containing 1,544 sq. ft., more or less

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property conveyed by DOUGLAS
C. JONES and TERRENCE B. JONES, Husband and Wife as joint tenants,
GRANTORS, dated October 1, 2018, to THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, GRANTEE, in a Grant of Easement, is hereby
accepted by the City Clerk of said City on this ' ' day of L)C fl j v- , 2018,
pursuant to authority granted by the City Council of said City, by Resolution No.
82-13, made on the 3rd day of February, 1982, and the Grantee consents to
recordation thereof by said City Clerk, its duly authorized officer.
